Robert-Dumesnil 314 and 315. Expo “Delaune” 3 (I/II) and 26b. Good impressions trimmed along the grounds (as most often), of the only state or the first state (of 2), before Langlois’s address. Laid down on old laid paper; small tears and many small defects on R.D. 315. These mirror back design must be related to an artwork in Pitti Palace, commissioned by Catherine de Medicis and probably made by the silversmith Mathurin Lussault. Ex collection P.C. Séchan (Lugt 2342).
